STRATEGIC PLAN FOR TOURISM 22-24 of Veneto Region (PIANO STRATEGICO PER IL TURISMO 22-24, Regione Veneto)

The Strategic Plan of Tourism from Regione Veneto Plan implemented over the period 2022-2024 aims to achieve sustainable and adaptable tourism development by implementing four interrelated approaches: Human Approach, Cross Business Approach, Communication Approach, and Instrumental Approach. These approaches address various aspects of workforce development, hospitality enhancement, cross-sector collaboration, branding and marketing, digital integration, and strategic information management. The interventions outlined in the plan focus on: Human Approach: Enhancing workforce development, promoting lifelong learning, addressing seasonal labor fluctuations, and improving social support mechanisms. Cross Business Approach: Fostering collaboration between tourism and other sectors, promoting infrastructure development, and ensuring accessibility. Communication Approach: Developing an integrated regional brand, inter-sectoral and inter-institutional collaboration, and enhancing communication strategies with direct interpersonal engagement. Instrumental Approach: Emphasizing the use of digital technologies, strategic information management, monitoring actions, and maintaining dialogue with guests. The main outcomes/results expected are: Enhanced workforce skills and sustainable tourism industry practices. Improved quality of hospitality services and preparation for hosting major events. Cross-sector collaboration and infrastructure development for competitiveness and accessibility. Development of an integrated regional brand and effective communication strategies. Utilization of digital technologies and strategic information management for improved decision-making. Dialogue with guests for preventive measures and crisis management.
