TOUR4ALL

A significant demographic shift in the European Union has led to increased demand in tourism, particularly among older citizens. Recognizing this trend, the TOUR4ALL project aims to boost accessible tourism and create employment opportunities for young people through entrepreneurship. Key objectives include providing accessibility training, expanding the out-of-season market for elders, fostering cooperation among various stakeholders, creating business support for accessible tourism, and raising awareness about accessibility issues. The project has achieved notable milestones, including the establishment of an online network, introduction of an EU-standard accessibility certificate, integration of accessibility training into education curricula, and development of a quality mark for accessible tourism. By collaborating with a diverse range of experts and stakeholders, TOUR4ALL has made significant strides in promoting inclusivity and sustainability in the tourism industry.
